It is set back from Street Road and signage could be clearer. It is very nice and clean. The service was excellent. A nice menu with varied casual eating choices. I had an excellent crab cake sandwich! I would definitely eat here again.
Nice neighborhood type bar. The food was good and priced right. The staff was great. We went for trivia night, and we had a blast, we'll be going back. They have a large parking lot and a huge covered deck out back.
We had a cheese steak sandwich, chicken wrap, and shared a salad. All was delicious. Great relaxed outdoor setting, helpful and friendly staff, fair prices. We would definitely return if back in the area.

I've been to the General Davis numerous times since I was a kid and I am in my mid 30's now. I've never had a bad experience! I moved to Delaware 5 years ago.. and we were up visiting for a funeral on 7/12/25 around 1:30pm. We stopped in for lunch and opted to sit outside at the bar. The bartender was running her butt off and provided excellent customer service! Our drinks were great, the service was great, and our food.. was mostly great. (The onion rings left much to be desired but were still edible! The other food was 10/10!) My biggest regret.. is not getting the bartenders name.. because she deserves to be praised!
The turkey burger is real turkey not ground up meat had it with mushroom onions and Swiss so flavorful . Muahi fish dinner $22 bucks was absolutely delicious it had tomatoes broccoli rabe crab meat and rice so good. Candace the bartender was so nice !
Burger was delicious. Lots of toppings, thick patty and melted cheese. Bacon was crispy. Shrimp quesadilla was delicious. Everyone was happy.
We sat outside on the deck. It was a beautiful day. We ordered Landshark on draft, and the beer was cold. We ordered some food. For appetizers had Buffalo shrimp and for our entree we have the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken. Everything was excellent. My daughter had a chicken wrap with avocado. She loved the homemade chips they served with it Staff were very nice and accommodating. We would definitely return
